In memory of the greatest conductor of all time, La Toscanini promotes talented young conductors with an International Conducting Competition named after him. This 12th edition falls on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra.

Auditorium Paganini Via Toscana 5/A, Parma, ItalyDuring the first elimination stage of the Toscanini Competition, which will take place from 31 August to 2 September 2025, the twelve selected competitors will be given one hour each to conduct and lead the assigned repertoire in a rehearsal with the orchestra.

Auditorium Paganini Via Toscana 5/A, Parma, ItalyThe Semifinal Stage of the competition – open to the public – will take place on September 3 and 4, 2025, at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma. It will feature the six candidates selected and announced at the end of the day on September 2, 2025.
