During the first elimination stage of the Toscanini Competition, which will take place from 31 August to 2 September 2025, the twelve selected competitors will be given one hour each to conduct and lead the assigned repertoire in a rehearsal with the orchestra.

The Semifinal Stage of the competition – open to the public – will take place on September 3 and 4, 2025, at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma. It will feature the six candidates selected and announced at the end of the day on September 2, 2025.

On 5 and 6 September 2025, rehearsal sessions with the orchestra will be held at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma. During these sessions, the 3 finalist candidates will be assessed by the International Jury. This rehearsal will be open to the public.

The Final Concert will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma. The awards ceremony will follow at the end of the concert.
